The UN Security Council is holding an urgent meeting at Serbia’s request into the flaring violence in northern Kosovo. Fresh clashes began when Kosovo police seized two disputed border checkpoints to prevent the transit of goods from Serbia. Serbs, which dominate northern Kosovo were outraged by the move – with youths destroying one of the checkpoints. NATO peacekeepers forces moved in to stop the violence, but the situation remains tense. RT talks to political analyst Aleksandar Pavic from Belgrade.
